i am calm. i was just making a statement. this is the first time ive ever "knocked on" anyone. and i didnt really mean it in a negative way. like i said before, it was just an fyi. i havent been on this forum that long, but ive seen alot of ppl do what i did with alot more anger.
im sure scion626 mainly concern with the engines maintanance, hence Drivetrain & Power is the closest category concerning about the engine in general...
most likely the service people will just say fuel system cleaning, because you cant see inside your engine anyway! but they got camera equipment to see inside. also your tires too and see if you tires are evenly worn out, if not thats another excuse for them, "you need an alignment, your tires worn out unevenly."
so yea it is a waste of time, and if something ever goes wrong ,you'll notice it. also they see what you see, and thats priceless..
I'm pretty sure this service is required to maintain your warranty.
No, it's not. You're supposed to have the required maintenance (per owner's manual) done at the specified intervals, but you can have the work done wherever you want or even do it yourself.
that's sad, so many people get scam these days.
I can't even think about those old ladies who pay these services with their social security check and stuff. That's just wrong!
