AEM cold ait intake
ok i know this has been discussed but i cant find the dirrect answer and was hoping someone can tell me i want to recharge the filter can i use k and n recharger or do i have to use the AEM one?
the AEM is a dryflow piece. they have been touting the advantages of a dry filter forever. to clean it you dip it into water and spin it about. just deep enough to cover the filter material. dont spray water at it cause it will drive the dirt deeper. no need to recharge because recharging requires oiling of the filter.

Jegs.com has the AEM filter cleaning detergent pretty cheap, @ $14 and change, shipped. It's the cheapest I could find online, anyway. I just cleaned mine a few weeks ago. Plus, they send you giant Jegs bumper stickers, so you get street cred with the 80s-Camaro crowd (if you have the nerve to use them)!
