Default New Fidanza flywheel coming in a few months.

I just spoke with Jeff at Fidanza. He said they are working on an aluminum flywheel for our xbs. It will be a few month till they are released. The main advantage of theirs is it has a ring on it that is replacable so you can just replace the ring when you replace your clutch. Also , they will be made here in the US so there will not be a long wait time if you need to replace it. As with the JUN. Here is their link.

I hope it's made better than the one I had on my 95 Dodge Neon. The damn thing came apart and nuked my tranny bellhousing . I had just finished my new 12:5:1 monster motor, with a spec stage 4 racing clutch and fidanza flywheel. I hit it with a 100 shot of nitrous in 3rd gear and the damn thing let loose on me. I was scared for my life. It was a scary day for me on the highway with metal and gear oil flying and hitting everything behind me.

I took it off and sent it back to the place I got it from. They sent it back to Fidanza for inspection. The Fidanza tecks said that the pins that were in the flywheel broke off. After all was said and done they sent me a brand new flywheel and clutch setup . I still had to replace my tranny and rebuild my motor. Needless to say I sold the unit they gave me for free. There was no way in the world I would have used thier flywheel on my car again. I have no faith in Fidanza products sorry

Don't sleep on the neon bro. My best time with the car was a 11.77 @124mph. The car was a monster. I just wish I could have made it as fast aas Scott Mohlers car. He's got a 10 second all motor monster.
