Default found this in my new xB glove box

When I drove my new xB home two days ago I found this in my glove box. It's two piece of soft black rubbers in a seal clear plastic bag. On the plastic bag there's a message that says

Important:
To pre-delivery inspector: Insert these rubbers plugs into the holes of the center floor side member extensions.

Does it mean that they forget to install it when they sold me the car? If it's so important why didn't the manufacturer install it b4 they leave the factory? Looks like these rubbers should go under the car.

Will the car break apart if I dont plug these rubbers in? j/k

David.

hmm good question, i didnt have anything in my glove when i first go it, the only none installed part that came with my box is the tire net that is for the back. if you are really worred give the dealer a call. and when you get an answer from them - call another local dealer and tell them the story to make sure your dealer isnt being lazy.
