Default air filter cleaner Q

was wondering if i can use a K&N kit to clean my Weapon R filter.

If the WeaponR filter is one of the "oiled" filters, then ya, should be OK. I use the K&N kit for my Injen filter without any problems.

ok... thanks.. now i just have to find out if its the oiled filter one. it's the one that comes with the s/c intake they sell.

so i search around and noticed that the shipping cost more than the product. that really suks *****. i'll look local to see if anyone carries it.

Autozones typically carry the K&N cleaning kits, that's where I got mine.

yea i have a K&N kit but LEO told me that i should use a foam cleaner because the K&N filters are not foam.

You can use the cleaner on the filter,but not the oil as it can mess the maf up.
