I just saw the Solar Yellow xB in an ad in my Maxim magazine..I want those side mirrors with the signals....those are sweet..I wonder if I can get them at the dealer already????

Personally, I think the side markers are good enough! Most cars don't even have those...

they only look good from the front...
because they just overlay the original mirrors you will see the edges of both parts from the rear...(notice they never show a view from the driver seat....)
plus you gotta drill a hole in the factory hosing for the wires...

find one in person before buying...you might not like the total look...

 

i dont like the total look. looks okay but not all that great.

You have turn signals in the front, and side markers on the side...
And these are turn signals.... on the front... side? :?

Oh well... I would definitely get the oem yellow xB ones and paint them if you really want them. But that seems like a big investment just for a FOURTH turn signal. (front/side/back)

I have some cheaper add-ons and LOVE having more blinker light flashing those fools in the other cars, especially from the side. That's where I see most near-collisions, when two people are trying to change into the same lane and they don't see the signals cuz they are flashing at the front and rear, not to the side where you're heading.

We already had two brake lights - why adda 3rd? More is better! Wait until you see the other idea I've got cooking in the turn signal department...

 

Is that $210.00 for both sides or just one?

 

i actually like the style, just not the execution of the aftermarket slip on lights...

 

When I first heard that the Solar Yellow RS2 will have turn signal indicators, I imagined them being like the LED ones on the tC.
After checking out the photos and realizing that they're the same ones that have been in the aftermarket for a while, I've changed my mind about buying them.

IMO, it's stupid for them to have them, and not shave the side marker. But then they'd have to make a new "shaved" mold just for the RS2's quarter panel, and that would be costly.

Me no likey.

I guess I'll just stay with my current setup...
