Default Trunk

My trunk seems offline?

It can fully close but the left side doesn't seem to close all the way.

It sticks up a bit, and theres a huge gap, unlike the right side. Which is alined and has a smaller gap.

How can I lower the left side?

Check to make sure the lift shocks are installed properly. If it is goto Advanced auto and get a weaker shock. Worked for me.

Wow, never thought that would be a problem if you had a bad shock... weird.

My car is exactly the same!!

I just figured it was nothing to be worried about.
The trunk seemed to work fine for me as well.

the thing is both of the shocks blew out.

i have been to lazy to change it, since i didn't use the trunk much, but now school started.
i use it all the time.

do you know which shocks to buy from advanced auto parts like, the weight or anything?

it seems easy to put in, i can do that myself.

thanks!

the trunk works fine, but i sometimes notice it and think twice if my trunk is open/closed.

So wait... you're saying your trunk doesn't line up properly but still closes OK but then go on to say that both of the shocks blew on it?

Would you not have just mentioned this at first - with the assumption that this MAY BE THE PROBLEM?

That's like asking what the weird thud is coming from the back of your car and then later on staying "oh, well, I've had this flat tire for a few days too... didn't think they were related."

Oh sorry, haha, but I didn't really think that would be the problem because...

it still happened even before the shocks had blown.

Just to clear things up.

My shocks just recently died, so yeah.
