Default Basic Lowering set-up

Hey guys, im looking to lower my car but i have no clue about suspension!
From the FAQ thread here i think i want to replace my springs, sway bar and add an upper strut bar!

My purpose would be primarily for looks, but also for BETTER handling (as i have some fun roads where i live). I wont need to pay for it to be installed because my buddy does all that (for his job soo to be with toyota) but i would like to keep the cost down.

Could someone like set me up with a good combination package? Maybe one thats low end, and another package thats possibly a little bit better?

Thanks alot in advance!

TRD springs and TRD rear sway. If you want simple - but effective, that's all you need.

The front strut tower bar... just get whichever you think looks best.

Yah, TRD will work without scraping. You won't be killing the whole wheel gap. Only about half of it. If you want a lower drop, go with something like the TRD struts and tein s-tech springs. S-techs aren't meant for the best handling but look really good.

Google or Youtube if you want to see which springs have noticeable drops and what not. Not sure about the scraping, but TRD shouldn't cause any problems.

rather than having people "pick" a setup for you...do your research.
everyone uses their car for diff. things, everyone has a diff. budget, etc etc.

not to mention if you dont know much it will be a learning experience, no sense in having people spoon feed you, youll never learn anything.
