Default factory tc foglamp changed to yellow bulbs

i am looking to upgrade the factory fog lamps on my factory foglamp equipted 2009 tc. none of the sites seem to list the bulb size for factory foglamps.

i'd like to switch to yellow colored bulbs for the factory lamps. i've read mixed results from old postings on this subject.

as said, all the foglamp bulb swap threads i've read on here are years old. what are your recommendations? please suggest a manufacturer, and which bulb color, bulb size, etc...

thanks!

Seeing as they are 9006 bulbs, and most bulb makers are still around, those "old threads" still are very relevant.

You have 2 options though if you want a yellow fog.

1) You can change the bulb to a yellow bulb, or a yellow HID
2) Add a tint film to the fog light in a yellow color and keep the stock bulb

The above two options are great. I have a third that may also do what you want.

You could get 4300k HID's and put yellow film over them. That way you can remove the film if you dont want the yellow color any more, but still have the same bright lights without the hassle of having to get under the car to change out yellow HID's.

I had a set of yellow HID's and they worked great, but I wanted more light output so I opted for 6000k (yes I know less light than 4300K), and put yellow overlays on them.

Or even better, tint them yellow with LaminX and then get 2500k Nokya Bulbs.

>is a concern switching to hid's in the foglamps not being able to aim the foglamps, and thus blinding everyone?

>is there a manufacturer which offers yellow tint/film for the stock foglamps? how is this to install?

>the threads i found talked about varying tints of yellow from different manufactures. was this in reference to different spectrum hid's?
