halo installation and taillight question
I found a few threads that I needed and I know how to install the halo lights but I am looking to set it up on a toggle swtich. Any know of a good thread to help explain it. Frankly, if you knew anything about it that would help.
Also, I have an 07 and the tail lights ____ me off. Is it possible to swap them out for 08 or is there a different fit. Thanks a lot

halo installs are not easy. from my view, they are a very custom mod for the not too faint of heart.
a few talented very people have posted diy how-to's here for tc halo headlights;

i think he probably means headlights that allready have halos in them. like aftermarket halo headlights.
pretty much a front bumper removal and couple of wires to connect.
if you have 0 mechanical skills id have some one with experience do it. it shouldn't be hard though.

here's the quick and dirty way;
select a 'hot' fused wire from inside the car. run one end of this hot wire thru the one leg of your toggle switch. on the other end of the toggle, connect another wire that runs out thru the firewall to your new halo's hot leads.
find a ground contact by connecting another wire off the scion's body to your new halo lights ground wires to complete the new, toggle controlled, halo lighting circuit.
the 'right way' (and perferred way) however would be to identify which wires under the scion dash controlled the optional foglamp switch, as all scions come with the same wiring harness.
connect your new toggle switch to those wires.
next, pick up the stock leads for the factory fog lamps, and tie your new halos into that circuit.
