Default Bought xB - Phoenix AZ Larry Miller Toyota - Review!

The salesmen was very helpful and very nice....I test drove their show car as they did not have any other xB's on the lot.
Had some sweet dealership options available too.
Overall experience was awesome.

Originally they tried to use me for my trade in and they only offered 4300$ and that was bogus, kbb was 6500$ on it trade in value.
So I got him to settle at 6700$ for my trade in =)

I could not haggle down the price, they were pretty firm on that and they always pointed to the stupid "pure price" letters right behind me LOL....
Part of me believes that and part does not. the fact that the car remains a MSRP...is still SUGGESTED RETAIL........they should change that if indeed its as low as they can go standing behind that "pure price" stuff.

Either way Im just happy what I got for my trade in or I would have probably walked out.

What I got:
Scion xB, manual 5 spd, silver, custom 17" wheels, 5 piece floor mats, deep window tint. (still debating on getting the springs and shocks package from TRD to lower it 1.25")

price came out to 16100$ before TTL
I have to wait 3-4 weeks while it gets made and shipped to LA then here...and then they gotta put the dealership options on....

So Im happy! and cant wait.

If Scion changed the 'Pure Price' policy to a normal 'negotiating' policy, then the $16,515 5-sp tC would instead have a MSRP closer to $20,000 and maybe you'd get the price down a grand or two but more than likely you'd never get back down to $16,515. Hopefully people will eventually realize the the whole pure price policy is a good thing

BINGO! But human nature being what it is, they would rather haggle a $20,000 price down to $18,000 than pay a flat $16,000.
