Default Fred's XB dyno results are here

It's been a long time coming but I'm finally gonna put my XB on a dyno tomorrow. I thought it might be fun to guess the results so post your best guess.

Spec's:

08 XB2 2AZ-FE (42K miles)
Heavily modified CXR turbo kit
Precision 5031E T3/T04E (.63A/R, stage 3, .60 A/R, 50 trim)
.4 BAR (5.8psi) WG spring
440cc DW injectors
2.5" custom exhaust, no cats
Split Second Enricher

Dynapack dyno at JE Performance in Baltimore, MD

I'm guessing 210whp and 215 ft lbs torque.

.

Test conditions were less than ideal. Ambient air in the garage was ~85F and they only had one small fan blowing into the lower grill. There was no air going to the air filter so IATs ranged from 106F to 133F. ECT was also 10-20F hotter than normal driving conditions. You can see how the AFR got richer as the IAT and ECT climbed during the 2nd and 3rd passes. I logged the runs with ScanXL but haven't reviewed the data yet.

To get good data from the dynapack the dyno operator had to start the runs after torque converter lock-up which he felt was ~3800rpm. Unfortunately this was past the TQ peak so the TQ curve looks messed up.

Overall I'm pretty happy with these results. This is right where I wanted to be due to the weak AT.

Good guesstimate Cory and thanks XD40tC for the luck!

Update on the ECU tune. It's now been 4 weeks and > 2000 miles without a CEL. I'm also averaging over 25 mpg which is about the same as I got pre-turbo.

not bad. i thought with the turbo the mpg would plummet. what is this ECU tune? maybe i could do the same and boost my mpg seeing as im N/A. I'd love to dyno my car....but i least in east bumfuk egypt.

MPG with or without a turbo depends more on how you drive than your peak HP/TQ. If I was spending a lot of time in boost using the extra 100 whp my MPG would certainly suffer greatly. Those MPG figures were taken during my normal commute back and forth to work which is a 50/50 mix of stop n' go city and 70mph hwy driving. I use the extra power frequently but usually for very short intervals like when passing left-lane squatting fuktards.

By "ECU tune" I'm refering to the 'tune' generated by our very smart, very sophisticated and very capable self-learning Toyota ECU. As long as you stay within it's pre-programmed limits, it's hands-down the best daily driver tune you can get... IMO.

There's not much point in getting your car dynoed since Elwaylite has already tested the typical NA mods for us.
