it sounds like plastic on plastic or a plastic rivit thats loose some where

now only if i could get that windsheld defrost ducting out of the way

i'm bound to find this dumb founded vibration sooner or later

and no its not the radio thats another vibration all by it self

i just look at it this way at least it's keeping my busy right lol

If you search the term rattle you will see others have had the same problem. It seems the housing unit for the stereo may be the culprit. My Xa has the same issue. Since it has to go back to the dealer for a paint touch up (it had a few scratches when I got it) the dealer is going to rip apart the dash and hopefully correct the issue. I'll let you know what comes of it.

If you find out where that damn rattle is coming from please let me know! I can't stand that crap for much longer!

I might take the whole dash off to find out what this is, plus I am thinking of painting on some edead behind that and maybe on the dash.

Please Please Please share if you discover the source of the rattle. I hate driving at speeds less than 45 MPH without the radio blasting to cover the noise. If the dealer manages to fix mine (hopefully it goes in next week) I'll let you know.

this has been discussed before, and we found out how to fix the rattle. . . there is a button on the radio that you need to push, and it promptly gets rid of the rattle. It's the Vol + button. Just keep hitting it until you can't hear the rattle anymore. :-p
just beein silly. Hope you find the source.
