Has anyone seen or done this? It'd be sweet to have that nice steering wheel in our cars.

yep, already thought about doing this and priced it out already. steering wheel part # 45100-21200 employee cost $503.12 air bag to go with it part # 45130-21090 employee cost $476.20 Yea too much money to do that right now. it would look sweet though! Love that wheel.

 

Whats the difference between the two? Like why can't we just switch the wheel right out?

and if the spline/hub was the same diameter with the same number of teeth, don't see why this steering wheel wouldn't fit. Most air bags are the same now (de-powered version intro'd couple years back), so the voltage sent via the air bag wire should be the same.

So I need to keep an eye out for a totaled 2g tC for not only a tranny but a steering wheel as well? Would be cool it we can hook it up.
