Default Wheel spacers?

Hello guys. First post and all... hope to be around a bit more.

Anyways. I got an '06 xA currently set up with a 1.5" coil spacer lift in front and coil-over helper shocks in the rear.

205/60/15's on stock steelies.

I've got about an inch of space between the tire and the strut in the front, and I can clearance the wheel well to go with a slightly larger tire, maybe a 205 or a 215 / 70/15 or so.

However, in the rear the tire would hit the suspension swing arm. I'm not about to box the trailing arm or re-center my rims, so how about spacers?

Is a 1.5" or 2" spacer a worthy part? Will it break on rough roads? Or should I consider other options?
