Default What would you do?

So, I've been planning on getting coilovers for a while now, I had a set of racelands, but sold them before installing because money was tight. I was in college then and could barely make my car payment, so at time I had to settle for the TRD springs I was already on.

Fast forward to today, I'm out of college, Have a good job, job security and a beautiful finace. Out of the blue, a guy I sold a set of tail lights to calls me asking if I'm interested in his BNIB coils. Now, I don't have gobs of money, and I am trying to save for the wedding and house, but the guy has some Tein SS-P w/ edfc. He sold his tC and is moving out of state so he's looking to offload the coils. The best I can offer for the set-up is $900, and I feel kinda bad for that, but He's down for the sale so I'm stoked.

I know I'm going to buy the coils. I'm spending $900 on a $1700 setup. Before He contacted me I was looking at the tein basis/basics which are $800.

So my Question SL, Would you Pay $900 and install the coils into your tC? Or would you sell the kit and get your money back and enough to cover low end teins?

Depends how many miles are on the coilovers, just because they are worth $1700 new and you are getting them for $900 doesnt mean they will last. If he has anything more than a few thousand miles id personally steer clear. But if you plan to buy them and flip it and you know you can make money on them, why not, I personally think its wrong cause ive gotten screwed over by someone flipping a product on me

The coils are bnib so they are brand new. Thats a good deal but I think you should save that money for your wedding/house. That's just me though.

Yeha, they are new, so quality or integrity of the parts aren't an issue.

And the longer I hold on to them, the less I think I want to sell them.
