Ok so I have done a lot of research trying to find a adapter for new ipods to charge off the cable but every adapter never seems to work or says it won't work with the model. I have a 5th gen ipod nano and it gets annoying having to recharge it every so often and then it dies on road trips. does anyone know of a adapter that will make it work?

 

i usually use the original ipod cable on my other pioneers. best case worse case, call them to see if there are any firmware updates.

 

does the Pioneer AVH-4000 have a detachable face?
