Default Technical question about TRD Springs...

I posted this in "Corner Carvers", but did not get any responses.....

I purchased a set of used TRD springs from someone. I received the box only to notice that there was no identifying marks on each spring to tell me what goes where. I would imagine the tighter looking coil on the ends of the spring would be the rear springs, correct? Bear with me, as I'm new to the whole "Scion scene". I'm a DIY kind of guy, the last time I purchased and installed springs myself was on my '99 Acura TL, which were a lot bigger and looked completely different, because the suspension setup is different from that car to the Scion. The springs for the Acura were different from front to back, which I know is noticeable just by looks alone, but those springs were also different from left to right. Each spring had a different load rate, the heavier rate being on the driver's side, considering there's usually more weight on the left side of the car because of the driver sitting on that side. Is this not the case with these springs? Now that I got the springs, all I have to do is wait for the car! I also have the wheels on order (17x7 40 offset), the tires I should get soon as well, and the onetongarage shims too. Let me know please...Thanks!

The TRD springs (and, to my knowledge, all scion springs) are the same left to right. The ones with the smaller coils at the ends are for the rear (they won't fit on the front anyway).

Good luck!
