Default Door ding after only 5 days

How depressing. Can nothing remain new? It's right on the character line near the top of the back door. Not too deep but still... Any chance this can be removed? (sigh....)

got mine dinkED again also over the weekend... one MPV driver parked so damn close to my lil shuttle...i wonder how he got out... but of cos he have to leave some marks and chip off my paint a lil... i wrote him a thank u note...

there should be dent removers over at ur place... i did mine once after collected a few dinks all around.... so now open another dink account... usually the rate gets cheaper with more dents u remove....

Yeah, I got a nice little ding on the front of my hood when some debris came flying off of a pick-up on the freeway only a couple days after I picked it up. It's minor and covered by the front mask now, but man, I feel your pain.

Was that the paintless dent removal. I've always wanted to know how well that works.
I don't have any door dings yet but I always go for the end spots, and put my car as for over as I can. Or I will park at the ends of a parking lot whenever I can.

actually the tools they used are simple... its metal rod with angled ends... the tip usually with rubber or plastic cap... they will insert these rod thru the seals of ur door (minimal removal of parts)... so once these rods are inside, they will twist or rotate the rod so that the rubber angled tips will rub the dents out from inside... u will actually see the dents popping up and will be like new... takes skilled hands to gently pop them back out... but of cos those dents with paint chipped off... u gotta cover them with paint...

Thanks for the info moaiD. I think I'll try it if I ever need some dings removed.

Pfft. My stealsership ruined my xA less than a week after I got it.

It's been repainted TWICE and, while it's not perfect, it's okay now. But it's lost it's "new" and "happy" feeling. Aside from the bodyshop taking care of it, they've never contacted me to apologize; even though I e-mailed a long complaint letter to the two owners, two GM's, the sales mgr, service mgr, and customer service rep. Nada! Nothing! Zip!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM JONES JUNCTION SCION - Bel Air, MD. ;)
