Default xB Bolt on SuperCharger..

They just tested the Blitz supercharger in Import tuner. They also have a Dyno test of the xB with DC Exhaust and headers and AEM Intake.

But my question is does anyone know the price range of the Supercharger?

I just picked up the issue. Its the June issue of Import Tuner. I posted a short synopsis of their review of the Blitz in the Forced Induction section.

I was a little disappointed that their dyno results for the DC header started at 3000 rmp. One of my biggest questions for the 4-1 header is how it will effect 0 through 3000 rpm. Important when most of my racing is for parking spaces and trying not to get mushed when taking a left hand turn at a yellow light at rush hour.

turbo magazine website...full article
http://www.turbomagazine.com/features/0402tur_scion/

any1 notice that the gains were on an automatic transmission? im sure power figures might be 15-20hp higher on a manual equiped scion...jes keep that in mind before you start bashing the dyno results.

perhaps more help can be gained through adding some fuel and putting in some more timing, or perhaps new cams.

vvti + FI = crap.

you need to make sure the valves no longer overlap to gain the most power with forced induction.

in the begining the JRSC was crap on the honda b series and h series motors, with more modification such as a the hondata setup, cams, ignition, water injection, bigger pulley it got to be pretty good. Sure you won't quite have the crazy power that turbo motors had, but you had the advantage of a broad powerband, something that comes in handy for road racing or even just freeway driving.

maybe you should think about getting a different car if you want to "rev hard". scions aren't really the best performance cars in the world.

Shaun
Glenn from HighonScion.com is running that. I guess those guys are pretty happy with it.

I have the Blitz kit on my dealership project car. We haven't dyno'd it yet (we've been meaning to for like 3 months now but haven't gotten around to it). It's a blast to drive but not something I'd pay to put on my own car. I like getting 30+ miles to the gallon and running 87 octane.

If I'd wanted something fast I'd have gotten a WRX, I'm happy with just an intake. That's just me though.

I'd recommend the Blitz kit to anybody with $3,000 eating a hole in their pocket and looking for FI. I've never driven the PE one so I can't comment.
