Default are meganracing catback and spipe 2.25"?

I was looking at getting the megan racing catback and spipe. looking at the catback it says it is 2.5" piping and something about a 2.25" inlet. Is that for the muffler or are they referring to the diameter of the silencer? Also, is the spipe 2.25"? I heard somewhere that the piping is 2.25"

that sux, I was hoping they were both gonna be 2.5" since I wanted to go with 1 company for the exhaust system and want 2.5". probably gonna end up with the zpi spipe+exhaust thats gonna cost $250+ more.

It's worth it though man, I've got their spipe right now and I'm waiting on my midpipe. They put out top notch stuff, I highly recommend them.

I wouldn't really care about the spipe being 2.25"; but, iam going turbo so I need it all to be at least 2.5". I just posted in the n/a thread cause if I were just asking about a catback and spipe it would get moved here anyways.

Yeah, whether you go ZPI or whatever go 2.5". That'll be good up to 400hp so that should definetly cover you.

2.25" is fine for the s-pipe..

I think ZPI is great too, but their s-pipe is really overpriced..

The last megan group buy that took place, the s-pipe sold for $120-$130 shipped.

ZPI wants $200 + shipping for pretty much the exact same product.

I really don't think there's many difference in quality either.. megan & ZPI both make good products. Megan is just much cheaper.

The Megan S pipe is 2.5", no idea where this rumor of a 2.25" size came from.

The inlet of the cat back pipe is 2.25" to allow the stock S pipe to bolt up to it, we are going to cut that little section out and weld in a 2.5" piece when we get out system from them, our future sponsor
