ok......i just got my tc 06 4 months now....and the maintenance light is blinking longer ....like it blinks six or seven times! now is this a problem i should bring up with the dealer or is it something i can just deal with myself?

 

How many miles are on your tC? If you are getting close to 5,000 miles then its just an indicator telling you that its almost time for an oil change.

 

how many miles do you have on it/put on it and did you get an oil change yet?

i haev approximatley 10,000 miles on my car already, and i jsut took it in for my second oil change. My next one isn't until like 11500 miles. However, my maintenance light is starting to go off. Is it possible that the dealership didn't reset the computer when they changed the oil, and its still thinking the car needs to go in for its second oil change??

 

very possible.. or they could've programmed it to come in sooner... that's also possible.

all that light is, is a mileage counter.

There's a mileage counter. When you get to 4000 miles it will be on then turn off. When it gets closer it will start blinking for a bit then turn off.... when you hit 5000 miles it will be on steady.
