Default need some help please!

Hello everybody, I'm new to this site and hope to find a solution to my problem..I have a 2008 scion xb around 70,000 miles on it..well I noticed my temp gauge is running cold, even after driving 60 miles tonight..took my reservoir cap off and my antifreeze is cool.no maintenance lights or temp lights are coming on.heater still works fine.I was thinking possibly thermostat but would like your input on it, appreciate any help..thanks..

Default Thermostat

It's probably the thermostat or a sensor(or the wires connected to the sensor) on the engine block.

Unless you know how to change the thermostat yourself you're going to have to go to a mechanic. I personally stay away from the dealer as they charge a mint for the easiest of fixes. I think a regular auto repair shop should be able to diagnose and repair this with little problem.

Probably a thermostat, they're cheap to buy. Easy fix as well
