when replacing factory throttle body with after market component ,what happens to the sensors that hook up to the factory throttle body ? im going to replace my factory system but ,the after market products dont seem to have the hook up for these sensors.are they eliminated and if so will not having these sensors trigger a check engine light? have not bought anything yet but was just curious. what aftermarket product is the best? planning to do the work myself. :twisted:

 

last time I checked, all the aftermarket intakes had ports for the MAF....

 

Are you changing out your intake or your throttlebody? Big difference. I have not seen an intake that does not have a cutout for the MAF. I also dont know of any aftermarket throttlebody mods. If there are some let us know.

thanks for the help . ive never seen any aftermarket intakes before and did not know.when i got mine in the mail it all made sense ! thanks for the response . im new at all this aftermarket mod stuff and im glad this site is here . i have some knowledge of cars and have been using the site for reference all the time and have been learning one upgrade at a time. thanks again
