Just not sure what I'd use it for. Anything I'd use it for I've got other devices that can handle it.
Not bashing the idea, just wondering what the upsides to the extra cost would be.

bluetooth is the wireless technology that links ur electronic gears ie) laptop, phone, pc, etc. the only coo thing about a bluetooth is the wireless mobile headsets for ur cell phone/work phone connection. The luxury of making calls from the bathroom...while at work.
Bluetooth is on its way out anyway, 802.11b/g is already replacing it.
Those are 2 completely different technologies, 802.11 is wireless internet.
Bluetooth is the wireless interaction between 2 devices, ex. You have a cell phone w/ bluetooth and you have a head set w/ blue tooth, The cell phone says " Hey I am a cell phone..." the head set says "Hey I am a headset... I can work w/ you", phone " Yea you can.... Lets connect" Bam Wirless head set that is working w/ you phone....
802.11 is wireless internet..... 2 totally different purposes
for those who were at Exposed... You know that a company is actually doing a test of bluetooth in a scion xB right now. I forget the companies name so if someone can help me out that would be cool...
my sister had it added to her mini cooper s. sure is convenient when your attacking some curves and shifting. all you have to do is hit a button on the back of the steering wheel rim and answer the call.
big downside is that calls aren't private if you have a passenger -- since audio is fed thru the car's speakers. suks having to have proper phone etiquette, and you can't bad mouth your passenger...

That and come July 1st, VA might pass a law banning cellular phone use while driving, as in having the phone up to your ear.
