Do I have to change/clean/oil the conical filter on the end of my CAI? I know if it where the stock airbox you have to service it from time to time, but what is the service cycle on this filter? I got confused by seeing oil kits from K&N for simmilar looking filters, then seeing "oil-free" filters from K&N. Is the AEM just a rebadged K&N?

also...is there any service simmilar for the bypass?

 

yeah i have the same question about this. any info would be appreciated guys.
also, does anyone have the technical specs on the filter (size, etc..) and would you be able to use a different brand filter on it if you wanted (such as Apex'i) ?
