Hey guys! I'm in Easton, PA and am having weird issues with my car audio install. I had it done by a "certified installer" at a local shop, and not only did they do a sloppy job, they also did a botched job. Every week I notice something else thats wrong. The latest thing is that only the right tweeter is working. I've gone back there plenty of times, and I don't know if it's because I'm a girl or what, but their constantly rude and they constantly tell me nothing is wrong, and that I don't know what I'm talking about!? The only reason I bring this up is because I just got a set of eDi6500s and want them installed. I already have the 6000s, I just want to swap them out for the 6500s. I desperately don't want to go back to the guy that did the original install!! I've even tried going to other local shops, and all they tell me is the guy that did the original work knows what he is doing, and wouldn't have screwed it up! I just can't get help anywhere I freakin' go.

All Elemental Designs:
(2) 13Kv.2s and a NINe.2X.
eDi 6000s and a NINe.4.
But I want to swap the 6000s out for the 6500s.
I'm in Easton, PA, but do not mind driving within reason, and will gladly pay to have this done right!!

are you changing out the crossovers too? Do you only need the 6000's removed and the 6500's installed?

i dont know where u re in PA, but if u are ne where near Greencastle PA, a very good place to go is Blazin Auto...they do ne thing...i had them put in 2 kicker 12" L7's and they sound great

 

There is a place off Exit 18/Rt. 22 off of 78 East in Lebanon, NJ called SR Audio. It is probably about 1/2 hour from Easton. I believe the owner has an XB himself. I never had work done there but the guy I believe posts on here and teamscionrg.com. I believe they offer a discount if you are part of Scionrg. You might want to give them a try.

Yeah! Go to SR Audio.. they give discounts to SL members, and are great guys! They know Scions too, as they've worked on several..... including the owner's xB.

 

Thanks for all the advice guys! I got them installed today by the original shop! They acutallly went out of their way, and made everything right! I'm very happy with my system, and the shop at this point!! :D :D
