Help with Power Window Wiring.
I’m not even sure if this is possible, but here is what I’m thinking: I want to install a momentary pushbutton switch next to the power window controls (on the drivers side only) that, when depressed, would allow the windows to roll up/down without the key in the ignition.
I had a 1965 Cadillac with this feature and it was really quite handy.
Can this be accomplished with a simple relay? (Using fused power from battery to relay, switched power from relay to window controls, and a momentary switch to throw the relay.)
Is this a horrible idea for a reason that I’m not seeing?

I'm not that great with relays, but essentially you could cut the wire in half with a relay, and have another relay to activate it while its off.. Because the wires are revers polarity.. not sure lol
here are the wires, for someone who could figure it out. LOL
