Default Blitz or PE or nothing...all you tech heads read this

Hey guys..i'm new on the boards here, but i just bought a Xb..5spd and i want to know which company should i go with for forced induction. I know that blitz and PE both have a SC kit for sale. Greddy says their turbo kit is ready..but the wont release it. I've read the forums many many times and see what everyone is saying..but my car is not a drag car..its my daily driver..i need something reliable..no check engine lights..no problems. I'm not looking for gobs of unreliable horsepower... i want reliablity and durabilty. So here's the question: Which company will give me the best reliability for forced induction?..Blitz or Power Enterprises..anyone else?..any info will hellp..thanks a lot.

Maybe you can justify spending 3k for 125whp but I can't. Both the Blitz and PE s/c have been on an xB for a very long time. Don't bother looking here...goto the source. Ask the guys from highonscion.com how their PE kit has handled the last 7 months...they have had the longest running forced induction kit so far. Your next job is to ask dibujoB how his Blitz charger has handled the last 4 months.

If you wait a little while longer, there will be a new turbo kit coming out.

I dont know if that's true because i was at 2002 SEMA show and there was a blue Scion Xb with a Blitz SC on it..and that was before the car was even released. I talked to my local toyota and they told me that the Blitz SC was the first forced induction unit on the Scion..supposedly Blitz was the one doing all the testing for the Scion even before it came out...can anyone confirm?..thanks in advance

That is true but what I am telling you is that I have spoken to the 2 guys I have mentioned and they are down to earth guys who are willing to help you out. They are your best bet for info and would be willing to help unlike a lot of companies out there.

Stafford fabs didn't blow up troys car. He's just saying that. I have the stafford fabs kit off of troys car and it works perfectly, and is soo much fun to drive. It's not fast but it sure is a lot faster than stock. I have a 4 speed automatic, since you have to 5 speed i wouldn't be able to think how fast it would be. Maybe into mid 14's! My car is mid to low 15's with an automatic, and the manual trannys are 1.5 seconds faster at most.

Like you said the xB is not a racecar.

How about a cold air induction kit?
No moving parts and it will give you better performance.
It's also a lot cheaper and doesn't void the warranty.
