You cant go wrong with cathodes and LEDs. The first thing I did with my car was put cathodes in the foot wells. Also, get rid of the stock head light bulbs and go buy some of the sylvania silverstar bulbs (gets rid of the ugly yellow light and their cheap). check out my profile to see what my cathodes look like.

mmmm i take it since you said you're about to get your license that you're in your mid teens (your age says 15). anyway, the xB is car that can be modified in a many different ways. of course, it can have lots of performance mods, including an exhaust and intake system, which you mentioned you wanted. yeah the exhaust and intake will help get you a more aggressive tone. look those up in the parts and power sections of the forums to get an idea of what you want. also, searching is your friend. in terms of street cred, i know that it seems cool to have a car modified up the wazoo and flashy and racy and all that when you're young (trust me, i have gone through that stage before), but don't take it to an extreme level where it just starts to look/sound bad. i just want to forewarn you of the many (majority of actually) people who don't like our box will call you out multiple times non-stop.

in terms of showy stuff, yeah definitely get interior lighting. it makes a huge difference and gives the ride a better atmosphere. debadging the rear hatch will help a lot, as well as changing out the front scion logo for the bB logo. also, stock wheels can be made to look better by taking off the OEM hubcaps and getting chrome trim rings and center caps.

anyway, the xB is not a racing machine and you will get blown away by most cars out there. nevertheless, enjoy it.

If you are serious about your car, the first thing I would do is lower it at least two inches.

sticker it and then have it dyno'd... the stickers add tons of hp, and you need to constantly make adjustments for that...
you can also cut down a lot of weight by taking out the seats and windows.. if you wanted a fast car, you bought the wrong one... take it back and get a TC with the supercharger
