I have noticed that tire prices have changed some since 6months ago. I will be looking to get new tires for my stock rims in a few months. I am looking for the same profile tire but with a high performance and noninflated cost. I remember there were 3 of 4 higher performance ones out.

Also - buying tires online seemed to be the best - almost always beat store prices.

 

Get wider 225's instead of 215 stock

 

Ah - i wanna keep the stockers atleast for now. I will have the LSD in a month so traction should be nice

Toyo Proxes 4 - 225/45-17 on stock rims. If not, TP4 - 215/45-17, but definitely toyo proxes 4

never used them but i always hear good things for them.

if you go the cheapskate path, kumho ecta asx do everything they're supposed and blow away the stock tires and are only like $81 each on tirerack. they also do just as good a job as the pirellie pzero nero m+s i replaced when i got them. and those cost $118 each.

 

where do you get them from? Tirerack doesnt have them

 

1010tires.com is one option, but they are WAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced. Do a search. I remember seeing them on one website for about $91 a tire 225/45-17.

I agree you should go w/ the wider tire...like a 225 x 45 x 17. But as for Toyo proxies..errrr. They are a great tire but expensive!!!
I love and support the Kumho ECSTA AST.
Half the price and compairable to in performance.

That's my experience with the Toyo P4's...couldn't be happier! listen to Spect2k3 you won't regret it!

 

Oh and to add, edgeracing raised the price per tire by 10 bucks, I only paid 83 per tire. Glad I got them when I did.
