500+ Horsepower tC Tries to Bust Free of Dyno

The first run is a little hairy because of the way they hooked it up. The wastegate was dumping hot exhaust all over the straps causing them to snap. That’s why he shuts it down so early after the first run. When they get it back up though… Man. This thing rips.

Something tells me that this guys setup cost quite a bit more than the Series 10 sleeper I posted a few days ago. He’s making 484 torque at the wheels and 515 horsepower. Holy crap. In a front-wheel drive car that sounds both awesome and potentially terrifying. Would you go this far? Is there such thing as too much FWD horsepower?
