Fensport’s Race-Prepped GT86 Gives McLaren 12C Run For Its Money

The McLaren 12C and the GT86 probably don’t get cross shopped that often. You know, because one is a classic sports car that mortals can afford and the other is a combination of carbon fiber, horsepower and F1 witchcraft that starts north of 250k.

But while there might be a continent-sized gap between the two vehicle’s MSRP, Fensport’s race-prepped Toyota Sprint Series ride left a lot less daylight between their lap times. Obviously, its far from stock. Power has been cranked to 335hp, the interior is gone, and the wheels are wrapped in slick rubber.

Mods aside though, this is an impressive display from the little Toyota—and shows just how capable the chassis is. Enjoy.
