Pro Tip: Don’t Buy an FR-S Without Telling Your Wife

There are a number of reasons that your wife/girlfriend/significant other might get mad at you for doing something without them. Other relationships come to mind as the most egregious, but buying a car comes in close second. Even worse? That car is sports car like the FR-S. Nothing screams “practical” and “sensible” like Toyota’s little coupe.
To say that the women are non-plussed with the decision is an understatement. Still, though I feel like they’re overreacting a bit. Sure, it might be a little bit… insensitive to buy the Toyota, but they should really look at the bright side. It gets great mpg, for one. It’s not particularly fast or deadly. On top of that, it’s so easy to drive that even the Mrs can get a little sideways without fear.
