I think it is. I have a friend here who asked a shop to mount a 10.5 with 215/35 and shop said they couldn't do it. Friend was like "oh yall can't do it? Watch this." Went outside and mounted the wheels himself and brought one inside and was like "You can mount it huh?" The people at the shop were in awe. Was hilarious.

 

Free tire mounting at my work Uyles. I got my 225/40 on 18x9 done at my work. But i work in montclair Ca

 

I paid $70 for mount/balancing.

 

That's like an hour and a half away. fml.

The average I'm getting for mounting/balancing is $15/$20 per wheel (Except for the friend that would do it for $45 if the machine will get it to bead).

 

 

i had a shop in LA do it, but they ____ed up rims pretty bad, they put lard all over my rims to get the tire to go on...then when i drive the lard got all over my paint...it was a _____ to get off.

 

Do any of you guys have your TPMS sensor on when u guys switch tire sizes?

I thought about doing that. My mirrors basically don't have any paint left on them. Stupid Toyota and their cheapass paint... >=|

 

^Same here. I'm considering either painting them flat black or having them hydro imaged.

 

Might be able to get a hook up to get the tires mounted and wheels balanced for free. Hopefully it works out.
