Default Where did you mount your aftermarket bluetooth mic?

Purchased a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X994 and will be installing it this weekend. Trying to decide on where to install the bluetooth mic and thought I'd look here for suggestions. Pictures would be very helpful!

Thanks!

I'll be installing mine tomorrow... I have the clip mounted at the top of the a-pillar close to the windshield. It seems to be a decent spot. We'll see.

I ran mine up in front of the gauge cluster and used adhesive to adhere the plastic mic mount to the plastic trim. So far it's worked out pretty great. Been using my Parrot unit for about 9 months now.

Mines installed, I placed it high on the a-pillar against the windshield. All of the reports is that the clarity is excellent. When I had it mounted near the rear view mirror, the clarity was muffled.

Since I have a single-DIN unit, I mounted it in the pocket of the dash kit. So far it's working great! I'll try to get pictures tonight.

on the double din install, those plastic spacers are a drag to get to sit right. I finally taped them in place.

Mounted the mic. to the steering column. No problems with people hearing me so long as the windows are rolled up. Radio is a Pioneer FH-X700BT.

I kept the factory (headliner) mic and wiring. It has a preamplifier built-in, so I took that out and connected it into my Kenwood DNX571HD and it works good. Pretty clean.

Mine came with a Blu Logic setup installed. They put the mic between the display and odo/trip buttons.
