Bought a Cement Tc2 back in January. I've been following the forum for a while and finally decided to join the other day.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. And mdiluxe, I have lots of plans for the car just need the $$$. So far I've just taken the stupid black a pillar tape off and I've ordered a 7440 socket to put in a second reverse light. Also planning on trying to get a lot of dynamat put in the car. For some reason the Texas Highway Department loves "textured" pavement and my tires roar over the stuff.

I used up 3 full boxes of Extreme Dynamat (P/N 10455) to do this to the car. I took all the lefover pieces and slapped them on the hatch back door.

exactly 60-lbs. But what a difference! The good thing is that most of that weight is down low...and it took the two of us two 12-hour days to do that. And both of us agreed that we would do it again...cuts, bups, etc.

I can only imagine! I used that stuff in my old car's trunk and it's crazy. And the weight being down low... touche.

So what kind of positives are we looking at?
- Less vibe from music
- Less road noise
- Anything else??

wind noise is the big one...it's like riding in a luxury car.
also, when you close the doors, there is no more of that tin-can-clank.
when you crank the volume it does not wake the neighbors and if you want to take full advantage of the OEM Audio + speaker system (you did notice the CF speakers?) you can hear all the highs crystal clear...
