*Introducing myself *
Hello everyone.. first off I would like to apologize if I have already posted in the wrong section. I noticed that you can't post in the General Discussion section until you have 50 posts and so I figured this would be the next best place since I dont really have a Scion. Anyways, my name is Andy i'm 19 and a freshman at DeVry University here at the Columbus, OH campus. I Currently own an '86 corolla GTS but I've got an eye for TC's. I'm really looking to buy a TC once I get a better cashflow since being a college student has me pretty much broke. I'm pretty big into drifting and AutoX and I love my corolla, but i've already decided I would sell it for a TC, even though I love it to pieces. I've got alot of money invested in my car but i'll go into that a little later. I'm part of the Outbrake Motorsports team est. 1996, located here in Ohio. I'm also a Moderator on Ohiodrifting.com, and I frequently attend drift event's and have placed top 8 on more than 3 occasions. Anyways.. I can't really think of anything else I can tell you about me so i'll leave you guys with some photo's and specs of my car and hopefully you'll be seeing me around the forums, enjoy

That must be a tough car to give up.
I bet you'd make a killing though, selling to a drifter/Initial D addict.
Are you sure you wanna sell it? Not much can replace it seeing as how there aren't any RWD entry level coupes anymore.
Also, the tC isn't the best car for drift nor auto X. I'd hate to say it here on Scionlife but the Si is a much better choice for auto x.
Of course, the money saved on the the tC could purchase quite a suspension set up and you'll still have the (in my opinion) better styling of the tC.

Not that I don't like tC's, but since when have they been the 'king' of autox? That seems like a huge overstatement. . . but hey, correct me if I'm wrong.

I apologize, I was imprecise in my diction. Let's see if I can correct this.

hahaha. . . much better.
But yeah, I consider the Lotus Elise/Exige to be the King of Autox. RWD, lightweight, and a short wheelbase yield blazingly fast turning capabilities, and low speed handling characteristics in a class all its own. The Miata also ranks very high. Of course a Type-R does well, especially with an LSD, being that you can power through the turns so easily.

Personally, I'd keep that car. Buy a tC when you can afford to have um both but turn the corolla into a track only car (where you can really let ride comfort go to crap and have even better handling). You're gonna seriously kick yourself for giving that beauty up and it's bound to start going up in value in a few years if you keep it looking that good.
