Default 2006 SI Civic?

So.. I was pretty certain on buying the scion TC. That is until my friend showed me the lineup for the 2006 Civic SI. The design and style is to compete with the Scion TC and by looks of it, the 2006 civic is going to be some competitor.

So... I have to make a decision.. Either wait until Sept. 1, 2005, when honda releases information on the 2006 civic.. or get my Scion TC on August 30th as planned.

Will this be better than the Scion TC? The engine specs have been released.. The car will have a 200HP engine with 16 valves and electronic shifting (steptronic).

Kind of a difficult question. Do you want to drive a rip-off of a bunch of different cars, or do you want to drive a rip-off of a tC with a Honda grille?

I like them both...if you want a faster car stock than go with the SI but I just love the tC. Still, Im a honda guy too, if I could, I would get both.

Wait for the Honda. Its almost out anyway. Then that would be a true comparison. Go see it in person, then decide. Not sure what the new civic si price will be but, I think the tC price will be hard to beat for the features.

tC owners = fanboys.

The tC is a good bang for your buck, but I'd opt for the new Si.

The finished product was posted a while back. It is truely horrible they should have produced the concept.

Hard to say. I have a tC and I love it, but then again I'm an SI guy to. I guess what I'm saying is that I can be no help.

Of course the 06 Civic Si will be better than the Scion Tc. It will cost approximately 4k-5k more so it better be.

I think a better comparison would be a Scion Tc with the TRD supercharger, if they ever plan to release it.

By the way, the Si is not going to get an automatic. Where the hell did you hear that false rumor from. Its only going to come with a six-speed tranny with an LSD.

And those pictures posted of the sedan are really old... There are tons of newer pictures out.
