Guys, I saw this car and have since then fallen in love with it. Even the cheapest version (2.5) has a 175hp and 180tq. motor, and also is a 6spd. What do you think? I'm thinking on buying it. Any opinions?

 

i was thinking the same thing. i owned an altima before my tc. theyre awesome cars and i had over 230k on it with no major prob's even had the stock clutch til 180k

 

that car is hot. pretty much a G35 with Nissan badges

 

that's why I love it! I love the G35 Coupe!

 

you could make a pretty nice sleeper out of it (ie. G35 eater)

 

Is there tuning parts for the Nissan Sentra SE-R? If so, the there's aftermarket tuning for the Altima 2.5. Is there?

 

I would wait to see if they plan to release a SE-R version of it first.....But i do think its sexy..

 

Well, theres the more expensive version with the 3.5 from the 350Z and G35 doing around 276hp.

 

You need to look into the engines on this one.
I think the smaller one is the same one that was eating oil and they had to extend everyone's warranty to 8/100k.
I know because my daughter bought a pearl-white '06.

Also, I've had two Maximas and they are hella (V6) expensive to repair.

Love this car though - it may have been my ride had it come out a year ago.

 

Thats the final version right there? .....if so .... its one nice looking car. Im glad the redid it. I remember when the current coupe body came out - it was nice. But I look at it now and it has aged.

 

Yep, that is the final version. I just checked if there ws any other problems, I saw heating problems, due to something about the coolant.

jeze - throw an aftermarket grille on and you have one smokin car. Whats the price tag say?

 

If they are the same that the Sedan, then around 18k, if not, then I don't know.

 

for the 6cyl

 

The price may be around ~$25k if it is like the Sedan.

 

The beefy V6 loaded will run 30k.
Not quite so loaded, 28k.
