Probably not... the Matrix hasn't done well for a while, and they kept dropping features off of it (4WD, XRS).

I was irritated that they redesigned the front end in 2005 and called it 'upscale' while downgrading a couple options.

In any event, this is basically the blade, and will probably carry the blade's pricetag.

 

I knew the 1.8 and 2.4 would be engine options (putting it in direct competition with BOTH new Scions), but the bodystyle is SICK! I love it!

I'll take the new Matrix over the xD and xB any day!

They took the old lines and made them softer, yet more aggressive.

This could be my next car. I love it.

It looks like the Corolla 2009 and this are taking styling cues from the Camry. I wonder what the next revisions of the Highlander, 4Runner and Landcruiser are going to take...

 

Hmmm, I don't like it. Truly does look kinda melted and plasticy. Don't like the new Corolla either. Lotta 2zz haters will be happy about the 2.4
