Default Anyone try this ever before?

So i wanna try this stuff because of a commercial i saw and it got me curious. It "guarantees" a difference in feeling after 500 miles if you have more than 40,000mi. on your motor. You add it to your oil and wait. I think it has been around for a while but haven't used it. Has ANYONE used it on any car? I mainly want to use it to keep my engine lasting longer, not really for more HPs.

As I recall from the days of driving really old oil burning cars--this stuff really just raises the viscosity level of your oil. In the days before multi-grade oil you would go to 40w or 50w oil to try to stop the loss of oil. I would not be a proponent of this for your car. If you have regularly changed your oil and filter you should have many thousands of trouble fee miles ahead.
