Default The BIKE Thread!!!

The riding season is just about here in Chicago, I've been seeing more and more people riding everyday... I haven't seen a motorcycle thread, so I'm starting one

Let's see your ride

I recently got a '05 Honda CBR600 F4i about 3 weeks ago... It was 100% bone stock when I got it, in immaculate condition, and almost no miles...

Mod List so far:

Zero Gravity - Double Bubble Windscreen - Dark Smoke
Proton - LED Front Flush Mount turn signals
Clear Alternatives - LED Tail Light Integrator (Brake and Turn Signals)
Competition Werkes - Fender Eliminator Kit (This was a P.I.T.A. to install )
LED Flasher Relay (Gets rid of the "Hyper Flash" from LED turn signals)
DDM Tuning - 8000K Digital HID kit

Future Mods:
Slip-On Exhaust

UPDATE 04/14/09
DDM HID kit installed today:

I was able to install the ballasts on the sides of the head light housing, they fit perfectly and I tucked all the wires neatly in the available space.

POST 'EM UP!!!

Hmmm, I didn't see any turn up in the search... I seen a Ninja 250 post, but that was it... Either way, here's a fresh thread then

Almost done building my 'fighter. Lots of big mods left to do, but it's riding season, so I'm putting them off for rainy days or the winter. Still have some tweaks left to do, like move the headlights down some and put on turn signals.

NICE! How do you like them and how long have you had them for? I was kinda skeptical because of the low price

600rr swingarm or SSSA off a VFR. The later of the two is a lot more complicated and a lot more expensive.

Different front end. I think fighters look a lot better with USD forks on it. Haven't decided between R1 or 954/929 forks.

Then paint and powder coat. I either want to do the frame, swinger and motor flat black and the tank and tail white or gun metal gray. That's awhile away though.

Well I originally found out about the company from a Honda fanboy site. I've had the kit for about 5 or 6 months and besides for a crappy relay, I haven't had a problem with them. I went to radio shack and just bought a new relay. Other than that, they've worked just fine. Nice and bright. I have the 6000k

Good to hear, I ordered it last week and it's on its way here (should be this Tuesday according to UPS)... Once I get it installed I'll post the pics up... My buddy that has the '09 R6 got the 8000k Raptor HID set, and for $40 they seem to be really nice, they're digital also... They sell the Raptor kit on DDM Tunings website as well. Nice thing about the DDM HID kit is the Lifetime Warranty they have, and $70 for a Digital HID kit isn't bad at all.

Well about that lifetime warranty... I called about my defective relay, and the guy just said: well you'll have to buy a new one. I kind of felt like saying: "Wtf mate?" I just hung up and went and got a better relay. I would probably go with a different company next time.

I'll give 'em hell if they try to pull that on me lol... If you advertise lifetime warranty, you'd better deliver HID's are going to be in today, I'll post some pics up when I finish the install later.
