Enjoy your Vic. good luck with that. Personally I'd take any vehicle over a honda. I am personally a nissan/toyota lover for tuning and aftermarket. Cause HP comes from torque, not the other way around.

I saw a Civic SI today. Didnt know it was actually out yet. Its odd looking in person and I think the tC is much better looking. I dont wanna rev it to 7k before it starts to go either. More torque is nice.

What is customer status?

Either way, how mature of you to come say something like this. You'll fit in on ClubSI just fine.

Don't forget to hold on when your VTEC kicks in. Might knock your eyeballs out the back of your thread.

What?? HP and Torque are two different concepts. Toyota and Nissan also have the same styles of engines as Honda. They are all small high rev motors that generate power off of high end HP instead of low end torque. (Granted VVT-i and such have made low end torque better on small engines)

If you want low end torque, buy a Mustang, old Camaro, something with a big V6 or a V8.

They just won't last long.

You are whacko lol. Don't you know the equasion of horsepower(HP = torque x rpm / 5252.. I might be wrong on the 5252 part but its close)? Nissan and toyota do not have the same style of engines. Yes they are internal combustion.. yes they specialize in the smaller compact vehicles. But the technology is different. Wich is why the VTEC engines have really low torque numbers respectivly. and OUR tCs are not High revving engines. the c6 vette redlines higher than our tC's if I am not mistaken. 6grand is a very conservative number in this day and age of automotive technology. MAYBE in 1972 6000 RPM redline was high, but today not at all. Besides I just gotta move to some other country to buy one of these
