Caliber SRT-4

To each his own but in my experience the neon SRTs werent all that reliable...not always things with the engine going wrong but other things...shift ***** coming off, motor mounts breaking with only 25,000 miles, engines losing boost after only 15,000 miles...ive known a few SRT owners, they loved their cars as do most enthusiasts but they complained about how much work went into them to keep them running right. From what ive seen stock tCs are pretty capable vehicles especially engine wise. Your talking about Toyota who basically seems to be the master of forced induction (along with Nissan). The 2AZ can handle a decent amount of boost reliably on the stock block, from what ive heard all the way up to 15psi before reinforcemant is needed. I love my tC, wouldn't think of trading it for anything. Then again im running 300whp on only 10psi and shootin for more with new upgrades soon, thats pretty impressive i think! And im not the only tC guy (or gal) doin it either! If i wanted badass power right off the bat with an amercan brand i wouldve bought a GTO!

I haven't seen the Caliber's interior but I doubt its much of an improvement over the previous SRT4 which is quite crap.

It's one of the better looking interior for a generic American car that I've seen, but with that said, it's the equivalent to an 80's German car, or a 90's Japanese car.
And that boost gauge has to be the most out of place thing ever put inside a car.

I'd take a SRT-4 Neon over a SRT-4 Caliber any day.

Munch, that was an easy answer. Enjoy your SRT-4 while it lasts, but I will warn you that Dodge corporate (just as every other car company's headquarters) lurk on the internet to find people just like yourself showing off with pictures of the damage they do to their vehicles at car shows and tracks.

Eh. Fast car but not my style. I'd rather have the Neon SRT-4. Just a preference in the style tho.
I don't see why were comparing a scion tC to this tho. If it came down to that price range I think i'd go with the Mazda Mazdaspeed 3.

Or how about this Z400? http://youtube.com/watch?v=LAEg8xstu1A. 30 hp with stubby tires and it's make more smoke than that SRT-4. Don't get me wrong, the new Caliber SRT-4 is a beast, but honestly, 300hp in a FWD car? Didn't Dodge learn from the Neon that putting that much power to the front wheels was a horrible idea? Guess not, guess that's why their reputation is in the ____ter.
