I paid $23,840 out the door with a trade in of a clunker. I did the trade to save on the taxes . I put down $15000 and financed the car for 36 months which gave me a 0% interest rate. My payments are $246 a month . Like I said before. I have bothe the SRT4 and my Turbo TC. I never really drove the TC because it was basically my Show/Track car. The TC only has about 8800 miles on it. I drive my SRT4 everyday and wouldn't have it any other way. The seats are comfortable. The power is insane. The gears are nice and long. I can hit 90+ in 3rd gear without trying (Try that with the TC ). Overall out of the two cars. I pick the SRTover the TC. Some people don't like the looks. I love it. The space in the TC couldn't shake a stick at the space in the SRT4. Handling, even with the full Progress Tech suspension on my TC (coilovers, swaybars, and strut braces) The SRT4 handles much better. I can't wait till a set of coilovers come out for this thing so I can really see what it does in the corners. It all boils down to who like what. The people defending the Scion brand are the ones that own it. It's the same way with the Dodge brand. I never keep my cars longer than 2 years, so resale value is never an issue . BTW the boost gauge is the most perfectly placed thing in the whole car next to the shifter. I love My SRT4 and I wouldn't trade for anything right now. Have fun people. The ____ing match is usless. Can't we all just get along

Add some bleach to that and it will produce the same amount of smoke.

Munch, your SRT-4 Neon handles better, and is superior to the tC then why isn't your SRT-4 Neon your track car? I am just curious.

I'd take a SRT-4 Neon over a SRT-4 Caliber any day.

To each his own but in my experience the neon SRTs werent all that reliable...not always things with the engine going wrong but other things...shift ***** coming off, motor mounts breaking with only 25,000 miles, engines losing boost after only 15,000 miles...ive known a few SRT owners, they loved their cars as do most enthusiasts but they complained about how much work went into them to keep them running right. From what ive seen stock tCs are pretty capable vehicles especially engine wise. Your talking about Toyota who basically seems to be the master of forced induction (along with Nissan). The 2AZ can handle a decent amount of boost reliably on the stock block, from what ive heard all the way up to 15psi before reinforcemant is needed. I love my tC, wouldn't think of trading it for anything. Then again im running 300whp on only 10psi and shootin for more with new upgrades soon, thats pretty impressive i think! And im not the only tC guy (or gal) doin it either! If i wanted badass power right off the bat with an amercan brand i wouldve bought a GTO!

Sorry but the interior of a Scion is infinitely better than the Caliber...Even if it is made of plastic, which every single car on the market uses, it's still designed much better and put together much tighter. I'm sure the Caliber is put together better than the SRT-4 (everyone who I talked to that drove one, said the first thing that happened, was the shift **** just fell off). You have to remember, the Caliber is a Dodge, meaning it's going to have that same bland look to it.

It's one of the better looking interior for a generic American car that I've seen, but with that said, it's the equivalent to an 80's German car, or a 90's Japanese car.

And that boost gauge has to be the most out of place thing ever put inside a car.
I'd rather have that vent moved up to where the boost gauge is. A pillar gauge pod would have been nice...

What bleach????? It was a burnout competition and there was no bleach involved. Go read the story. Stop compairing apples to oranges. The XB couldn't hold the SRT's exhaust pipes 300hp>108hp

I am sorry. I'd still take the SRT-4 Neon over the SRT-4 Caliber...that's just my preference, but that didn't answer my question.

Munch, that was an easy answer. Enjoy your SRT-4 while it lasts, but I will warn you that Dodge corporate (just as every other car company's headquarters) lurk on the internet to find people just like yourself showing off with pictures of the damage they do to their vehicles at car shows and tracks.

I don't worry about that stuff. My SRT4 is SILVER, not the black one pictured. That one belongs to Darrell *** Racing. I'm pretty sure you.ve heard of them

Eh. Fast car but not my style. I'd rather have the Neon SRT-4. Just a preference in the style tho.

I don't see why were comparing a scion tC to this tho. If it came down to that price range I think i'd go with the Mazda Mazdaspeed 3.

Alarms are nothing more than noise makers that nobody pays attention to. They are also easy as hell to turn off. Just a pop of the hood and a snip of the siren wires. Come on bro, you know this.....................................don't you

It's the point of having the alarm. If it's any bit visible that an alarm is equipped on the car, it's a proven fact that it will turn away most thieves. They'd rather not bother with the attention when they could break into an easier car. Besides, who the hell goes around stealing a $50 gauge...?

it's happened to me before. It's not always a $50 gauge in the pod. Try an AEM wideband gauge. That's far from $50. I know a few car theif a$$h*les, and they could care less if you had an alarm or lojack. If they want it, they will get it while you're sleep.

Bleach or no bleach, posting burnout pictures to make a car look badass is just sad. So I guess this tC must rape that SRT-4 because it produces more smoke.

Or how about this Z400? http://youtube.com/watch?v=LAEg8xstu1A. 30 hp with stubby tires and it's make more smoke than that SRT-4. Don't get me wrong, the new Caliber SRT-4 is a beast, but honestly, 300hp in a FWD car? Didn't Dodge learn from the Neon that putting that much power to the front wheels was a horrible idea? Guess not, guess that's why their reputation is in the ____ter.
