I saw an SS on the road for the first time the other day. They are nice looking cars, and the sound was pretty sweet too.

The Camaro SS is the best sports car for the money. Period. The V6 rapes everything in the $25-30$ price range and it's only $22k, and the V8 pretty much takes on everything up to the Vette.

And let's not forget aftermarket support. 3 months on the market and they already have it putting 700 to the wheels with an LS9 swap.

I think its ugly ___ hell. Jay Leno is a ___. European this, European that... bottom line is ______ its not a european and never will be. 5 years from now those cars are going to be just like any other chevy. Rattling dashes, peeling paint, ____ going south with it just how they should have let Chevy go. I would choose the mustang over it for sure . Carbon when you say best sports car for the 22 - 30k range. I dont thinkso. U cant make those predictions yet. I think its a poor attempt to help chevy out.

lol, so what's better than the V6 Camaro that's in the same price range? The Genesis? LOL! The only thing that even comes close is the Mustang, and that falls short, especially when comparing the V8 models.

I dont know how much new evo and sti are in your area but around here they are going for 30k. the cobalt ss like 30 hp short of 300 but they are also lighter. same things goes for a regular wrx and awd lancer. awd vw golf is also cheaper. their are a lot of cars man that will be good candidates. 300 hp is flywheel numbers, and considering the fact the car is also heavier.

I went to see the Camaro at the dealer in Chino. They do not have any. You put $100 as deposit and when it gets here they call you. You need to pay sticker price. I plan to get the v6. Very nice car.

well i dont consider it muscle... seems rather pointless to work on a non-ss camaro or non-gt mustang... if your gonna spend money to make it fast... why not buy the faster one already... then work on that...duh..

I don't really like the look of them. I think the challenger looks better. But overall I prefer the Mustang over both of them.

I used to love muscle but ever since getting into the import scene when I was 15 I have constantly been sticking up for imports from the muscle car guys made me dislike them all together. I am not sure bout your area but over here at our drag strip its not muscle that lines up against muscle its import against muscle every time. For the last 2 years faster cars have been imports. I am not the only one that feels this way too. Chevy I do not think deserves this. I think its dumb how a company with so much financial problems gets bailed out from our company and given another chance to make cars. I think it should have been sold since its them that make ____ cars. My whole fam has driven chevys up until 2004 were we mostly drive toyota products now and the quality is unmatched. quality will speak for itself thats why toyota is doing good and chevy is not. Car looks ugly in my eyes. challenger looks sick and so does the mustang. but chevy i dont know. ..

I just want to point out that Toyota received a bailout from the Japanese government too.

yeah im still mixed on the camaro..im also mad that the only reason the camaro went away was because they closed that plant and laid off all the workers and had to wait to make it again...also ive heard rumors that they want to reopen that plant that made the camaros before ..they make it sound like they just did not want to make it but that was not the case ...as far as the quality battle everyone allready knows that most american cars are not all that great but we buy its what we like so who really cares ..also to say that import's do not have a chance come on stop being in denial alot of econo cars can walk on this camaro or any other supposed muscle car..every car has its own thing its good at so if ya like import or domestic who cares to many people crying about pointless ish ....btw i think its the color of the camaro that makes it shine one color s hum one is like wow so well myeb ill drive see what its all about ,and as far as cost right now i hear its around 45 so ish id rather buy a zo6 vette if im spendidng that kinda of money ..

im not going to write import this or muscle that but EVERYONE on this forum has got to admit, chevy and ford have been stepping up their game tremendously. Most importantly their interiors look 10x better than 10 years ago!
