Default came close to trading in the TC...

Stopped at the saturn dealer this weekend.. they are starting to get test drive models of the SKY... can you say INSANE!! that has to be one of the most beatiful cars i have seen... i have never seen any pics of it with the top up.. so i asked to see it withthe top.. expecting to be alittle disappointed.. all i have to say is WOW!! that damn thing looks just as good or dare i say better with the top up.. if the numbers "for me" looked better id have put in for one on the spot.. but im still too upside down on the TC... BUT DAMN!! i would suggest stopping by your nearest saturn dealer and looking at that car.....

Ya, it does look nice. I've even seen a Solstice or two around here and see the lines and the style... but still man... I just don't know.

I am hoping VW builds that concept they showed. the 3 wheeled motorcycle looking thing with the turbo diesel in it...i would be all over that in a heart beat.

i hear you!! i have never owned a saturn.. so i really can not see a draw back to the SKY.. are saturns bad for reliability..?

i guess we will see the realibilty of these 2 cars.. since the pontiac and the saturn are basically the same car... im still have that ich though after seeing it yeaterday.. it should run with the TC or a bit better.. with 177hp and 166tq..

Good Looking car, but it IS a Saturn.

Also, the Solstice is a Pontiac. I've hated EVERY pontiac I've ever driven. Awful steering, noisy... just a POS.

But the SKY is very pretty..

Well Saturns are still GM. So it's like buying a slightly upgraded Chevy. And while they're not at the total bottom of the GM ladder, they certainly aren't near the top either.

saw one, real nice! Saturn is getting better on the reliability side. You can ask my cousin bout that one. He works in Saturn service and two of his coworkers had to leave because they have no work.

that good to know about the reliability,,!!

the only 2 things that were a minus (but i would overlook if i had the money) for me on the sky was 1. the amount of cargo space... with the top up.. you may be able to fit a tampon or two in the back ... and 2. is that there really isn't any interior room for........ hhmmm....... how should i put this.................................................................... well.. ill let you guys use your imagination!!

I would never buy a Dodge product, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Saturn. I've owned one and it was a great car. In '93 I bought a brand new SL2. I never had any trouble with it. I have a friend who'd driving around in a '98 Saturn with 140K miles. Other than usual maintenance items, it's never needed anything either. The Sky is freakin' awesome.

You sir, fail. One can say the same about the xB, the tC, or the xA. "Well..it's nice an all, but it's just another toyota."

good thing toyotas are reliable, quality, last a long time, and retain their value. so, in that case, it'd be a positive connotation.

I would have bought it, but I live in a cr*ppy city (New Orleans) and it's just not practical here. It's also not practical for my dog.

I'll get something like it as a second car as soon as I can get out of this h*llhole.

It seems that all the ppl putting it down are "automotivly prejudice". i come from the VW world. i have owned 4 my father has owned a vw or audi since 1982 and my mother drives a touerg. It was a hard for me to make the jump to scion/toyota but once i did i realized there are alot of other nice cars out there that dont wear a vw/audi badge. Once you get over this brand thing you will have a whole new veiw of the automitve world and actaully enjoy it more cause once you take the blinders off there is sooooooo much more going on in the car world. for all the hater...go out and drive the sky and see what you think. cause otherwise your comments are about as useful as a solar powered flashlight
