Good question, will they keep the SRT-4 or is it getting flushed too? I like the SRT-4.

Good that car was a POS anyway. Most american cars are they're all made in Mexico and Korea.

Yes, I just called and the SRT-4 too is cut.

it is in the XA to show you that the less car makers make smaller cars, the more yours is worth..

Another link, confirming the news.

I don't like dodge vehicles. seems a lot of them burn oil, no matter on age.
I just think their coolest idea was turbocharging a Caravan.

I thought the Neon is being replaced by the Dodge Caliber?

This name change move seems similar to Chevy replacing the name Cavalier with Cobalt. Ford did it awhile back with the Escort to the Focus.

I dont know about that....maybe the older one's. the newer dodge cars are pretty reliable.

The PT Cruiser is built on Neon running gear.

When is the Caliber going to hit the market?

I had a 95 Neon as my previous car, paid $3000 for it with 55K miles. Ran the thing to death until 116K miles when I threw a rod. But anyway, up until that point, it was very reliable and never used any oil. Best $3000 I ever spent.

My oldest daughter had a 99 Neon, it was heavy, slow, stone reliable and ran good until and old fart wiped her out with a pickup truck....Those Neons will take a hit!

Definitely gotta give Dodge props for the last 5 years or so. They have vastly improved their lineup. The SRT-4 is an unbelievable bang for the buck. No need to keep the Neon. I wish that they would change the styling of the Charger. It's got the power, but it looks like any other sedan out there.

They stated that they are making a SRT-4 of the Dodge Caliber.

It is also rumored that it might be AWD.

Its a shame really, they are only replacing the Neon because it got such a bad rep. However, thats only because of a head gasket problem which affected it during the first 2 years it came out. That and the interior compared to it economized competition.

I still think it was the best and most origonal of the 90s domestically designed economy subcompacts, to the point where later model Sentras stole cues from them.

the "SRT" is not a vehicle.
"SRT" just simply stands for "street & racing technology"

there's the srt4, srt6, srt8. etc... (4 cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl, etc...)

when srt comes out with their version of a car, they call it the neon srt4 (for example).
now that the neon is gone, they'll make an srt4, but it will be the caliber srt4
