Default Civic Killer

The tC started as a civic killer and we all know it was and still is, but take a look at this video. Seems like Honda took some ideas from the tC.

That car is ugly. But has some awesome featuers. 55MPG, voice everything, refrigerated glovebox, 6 spd, the rear seats make it so you can store something huge, awesome paint.

I really dont like civics. and i dont like the LOOKS of this one. But it does have nice features.

a few notes:

1) the beginning camera work was way too shaky.

2) the dual triangular exhaust is hot.

3) the car is a 2006 model for Europe. Then why is it a left hand drive?

4) the reviewer is more annoying than the camera work.

5) dual power panoramic roof...i miss that on my tC.

Based on the license plates it is in Europe or the United Kingdom. I wish I had my tC when I was in Germany, so I could've drove it on the Autobahn.

he quotes the price in pounds. so i'd say UK.

but isn't it odd that this is a left-hand drive vehicle?

When cars are made for europe they make them both left and right hand drive to comply with the mainland of europe and the UK.

I miss living in europe and like someone said I need to get my tC there to see how it runs. Hopefully moving back in the next year.

yea, that roof kicked butt!
BUT i think theres a lot of unnecessary stuff...
Dual exhaust on a 2.2 liter? function or fashion?
Eco and Rev lights??? Let's think here.... who in their right mind thinks they are getting good fuel economy when hammering it???
The foldering rear seats are cool.... but did he have to walk THROUGH the car.... i mean... i just see no point in why he had to do that.
I don't want my car to tell me what time it is, i am not stupid and unable to read a clock.
He says the car is for young people.... yet its telling me if the passengers in the backseat seatbelts are unbuckled? nifty? yes. unnecessary and a possible waste of money and technology? YES

Ok, the US got screwed once more because Honda once more thinks that US customers are more word to perpose minded or in other words they think when we think economy we mean budget everything. The only two companies in the US now that seem bold enough to try a feature rich compact is Toyota and Dodge.

Which leads me to one other thing, it is interesting is that the new Honda hatch has refridgerated glove box and totally colapsable seats with clever praportion for rear room as well as an optional built in GPS for its class is just like Caliber. Either there was some industry leaks or engineers have unaminously come to a conclusion on what is a must amongst compacts. Sure, I know that the new Civic will sell more than the Caliber in Europe but it will be interesting to see Dodge join to duke it out with Honda, Suzuki, VW and Peugeot to duke it out in Eurasia as well as some of South America.

I also like the head and somewhat the taillights because it reminds me of my SVX, not to mention color. So their cues seem to be nothing too new.

This one is not mine but is pretty close to how mine looks. This may answer your question why I have a strange taste when it comes to automobiles.

Well, the main similarity I see is that both have a waterfall grill (where the glass/transparent plastic covering the headlights spand across. I guess nothing else is though considering the taillights seem to be more NSX or mid 90s Accord influenced.

I think most people agree that like the Dodge Caliber, the new Honda Civic has all its features and priorities set correctly but its looks are a bit off.
