Your taxes hard at work.
I have no problem with an individual wanting to drive an elect. vehicle in the city. But to mandate the demise of gasoline/diesel engines in an attempt to clean the air is a fallacy, and always has been. Trying to put the oil industry out of business will also never happen. At least for the foreseeable future. Fossil fuel and oil products are a viable resource required to maintain our society, and lifestyle. Do people even know how electricity is generated? What do these purists heat their house with? Solar power?
Or if the oil company's are run out of business, what will happen to the rubber products of the world? How will you drive an electric car, W/O tires? It's all such a political crock that I fortunately won't be around to see the consequences.
